Why is important to hire a make-up artist for my wedding?

Planning a wedding can be overwhelming and time consuming and the last thing you want to worry about while planning is your makeup. When you hire a makeup artist you are offered a level of experience, education and skill that will help you create the look you desire. Our job is to help you alleviate the pressures and stress of worrying about your face. You will save time and energy that can be allocated for more important tasks. It's an investment that will last you a lifetime (through photos).

I am not sure what makeup look I want, can you help?

Yes, of course! It is my job to help you create a custom makeup look that fits your face shape, style and personality. During our zoom consultation we will discuss the looks that you like most. I will go over looks that will best suit your face shape, personality and wedding aesthetic. It is my job to help you land the perfect makeup look for you.

Do you offer bridal trials? If so, what is the process of that?

I not only offer bridal trials but I HIGHLY recommend you book one before moving forward. The bridal trial is a great preliminary option to see if I'm a great fit for your wedding day. The makeup trial is a great way to perfect the look and make changes if necessary. You will also have the opportunity to wear the makeup throughout the day to see how it holds up and get the opinions of your friends and family.

What do you charge?

All pricing information can be found here.

The final balance is due in its entirety is due on the day of the wedding as one payment - no exceptions. Payment must be made with Cash or paypal (additional fees applies).

How long will the makeup last?

The makeup will last you throughout the entirety of the day. However, naturally weddings can be emotional and lots of fun so I offer a complimentary touch kit for under eye, oil secretion, sweat and lipstick maintenance. However, if you would like me to stay for touch ups that fee can be included in your makeup booking.

What brand makeup do you use?

For weddings I have customized my kit to ensure that the products I use are GREAT and long lasting. Great wedding makeup is a combination of good products but better technique. A few of my go to brands that I use in my kit are Makeup Forever, MAC cosmetic, Too Face, Chanel, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Benefit, Juvia’s Place, Maybelline, Black Radiance, Danessa Myrick, Morphe and more.

PLEASE let me know if you have any makeup ALLERGIES to any specific brands ahead of time. If there is a brand you prefer I would be more than happy to provide that product.

Are false eyelashes necessary for my wedding day? And can I opt out of using it?

It is completely up to you if you want to include false eyelashes into your wedding makeup look. I want you to feel comfortable and confident. However, I do feel eyelashes help to elevate the makeup look and adds a nice finishing touch.

I offer a wide range of lash options that go from natural to really dramatic. I offer mink, synthetic and/or human hair eyelashes. If you have lash extensions you can choose to opt out or add an extra pair on top.

How long does makeup application take?

A typical makeup application can take anywhere from 45mins to an hour. This includes prepping the skin, makeup application and refining any minor imperfections.

Do you offer makeup services for other members of the bridal party? Bridesmaids? Family members? Friends?

Yes! I do. However, bridesmaids looks, number of bridesmaids and time allocated for makeup application for each bridesmaid will be discussed on our first consultation.

Typically during the wedding day other family members may get excited and want a last minute makeup look. I strongly suggest that you ask who wants their makeup done ahead of time so enough time is allocated for additional parties.

Bridesmaids pricing can be found here.

Can I hire you for partial makeup services? e.g., just eyes, or just face?

Unfortunately I do not offer partial makeup services to brides or bridesmaids. As a professional it is important to me to showcase my work from start to finish. I do not go over or touch up other makeup artist work.

How far in advance should I book a makeup artist for my wedding?

I would suggest you book your bridal artist after your bridal trial if things go well. You want to ensure that your artist doesn't get booked for your special day. The sooner the better.

Do you travel to me? If so, what do you charge for travel?

Yes, I do travel to my clients. This makes it more convenient and easy for you.The cost of travel will vary depending on your location.

Do you do Makeup for Destination Weddings? If so, what do you charge?

Yes, I do offer services for destination weddings. As part of this package my client would be responsible for the cost of a round trip flight (No standby tickets) accommodations, transportation plus the cost of the makeup services being provided.

What is the process to secure you for my wedding date?

To secure your makeup booking a $250 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date and time. The remaining balance will be due on the day of your wedding.
